The GI JOE Stop-Motion Film Festival is back in 2008, and like the return of a dear friend, we couldn't be happier about it. The Festival offers filmgoers a wealth of international cinematic fare all in stop-motion fashion. On October9th 2008, the Festival will present an exciting array of contemporary narrative, documentary and short films from emerging and veteran filmmakers, as well as a few classic films.

In addition to the annual GI Joe Stop-Motion Film Festival in Denver, CO, we have begun touring the country, screening an ever-growing selection of films to areas around the United States West Coast. Our first stop will be in Los Angeles, at the Echo Park Film Center, a volunteer-run, non-profit media arts organization located in the Echo Park neighborhood at the corner of Alvarado Street and Sunset Blvd.

The screening will happen March 29th 2008.

We have also contacted a few independent Movie Houses in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. We'll post more info about those locations as partnerships are confirmed.
